Now serving Alcoa, Tennessee!
We remove super lice in 90 minutes or less!
Why are we different?
- Head Lice have developed a resistance to the chemicals in over-the-counter shampoos in more than 30 states, including Tennessee. Even when lice shampoos kill some hatched lice, they don’t kill the lice eggs, so infestations continue. There is no evidence that lice can develop resistance to heated air. We are the only local operator of any heat treatment device in East Tennessee. Our Lice-Tech device uses heated air to kill both lice and their eggs in one single treatment. Check out our menu of treatment options to see what is right for your family.
- On average, our treatments take an hour and a half, making us the fastest and easiest way to fix the problem of head lice. Call us today for all of your lice removal needs in and around Alcoa!
- If DIY is more your style, we sell all the professional products we use in our clinic services. Check out our online store and tutorial videos!
- Alcoa has around 2,000 students in public schools, and lice are making their way through as many of them as they can. We are committed to keeping you and your family safe from infestation!
The Lice-Tech Heat Treatment Device
Effectively treating lice is fast and safe with our heat treatment device. Our device blows heated air through its applicator tip along the scalp and hair shafts at a higher flow (but cooler temperature) than a hair dryer. It is very comfortable and feels like a heated head massage.
Single one-hour treatment
A unique applicator tip specially designed to penetrate beyond the insulating layer of hair is used to lift the hair slightly while directing airflow right onto lice and eggs which tend to be located near the scalp and hair roots.
No pesticides, no toxins
A specific, timed treatment pattern is followed to ensure all areas of the head are treated. No pesticides or other chemicals are used in the therapy; just heated air.
Highly Effective
Our device is highly effective because the small size and shape of head lice and their eggs make it difficult for them to conserve water. We kill them through dehydration. Our most popular treatment, the Full Service Treatment, is a 3-step-process that desiccates lice and their eggs in a single treatment.*
Works Every Time
As such, when lice and nits are exposed to the right amount of heated air at the right temperature and for the right length of time, they dry out and die. Basically, the device dehydrates lice and their eggs.
